MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS LACROSSE REGISTRATION HAS NOT YET BEGUN.

Middle School Girls Fall Lacrosse 2008

The Middle School Girls Teams will be formed this Fall and will be comprised of girls in 5th-8th grade residing in Scripps Ranch - ZIP 92131. The girls will use Dingman Elementary as their practice and game field (likley Mon/Thu/Sun). Once league games begin Sun practice will be dropped as most games will be on Sat (we have some scheduling flexibility and try to host triple headers in Scripps). Each team will practice after school at least two times a week - the legaue will also host a Wed fun session geared towards drills and scrimmages for players that missed one of the other sessions, or simply want extra practice. The team(s) will play in the San Diego Girls Lacrosse League against schools from Poway, La Costa, Torrey Pines, La Jolla, Rancho Bernardo, Coronado, and other areas of San Diego. Current expressed interest leads us to believe that there will be at least two teams this fall for girls in this grade range - but possibly a third team will be added. All teams will play in SDCLA unless circumstances dictate otherwise. The SRLA will again utilize SRHS players in conjunction with an adult coaching staff to ensure the teams are organized and managed effectively.
